Can't Feel My Legs

Standing, wondering around the department looking for meds for 8 hours without sitting down. 

I can't feel my legs.

It feels like working at the restaurant all over again. But this time, the lunch hour mad rush is there to stay from 9 to 3. 

I want to use a rollerblade. 

may I? can I?

and owh, I'm the leader of the freshies. great.

Duit Raya !!

Who knew, at the age of 25 Im still getting duit raya. Haha!

The timing of my 'report for duty' is just awesome, shortly after raya (Yeah, I'll be working my socks off starting this coming Monday). I had a whole Ramadhan and did a major overhaul of myself, I enjoyed raya for the first time without any pressure of exam or work, and I had the chance to sapu duit raya for the last time! So I would say its a damn good timing!

I felt much relieve that I finally have the answer to everybody's question, "bile masuk kerja?"

But I can feel the next question is coming thick and fast. "Bila nak kahwin?"

Haha. Well, I think I should be able to answer that in not too distance future, insyAllah.

In the mean time, I think I should enjoy my last duit raya! Er maybe a new Denso Iridium Spark Plugs with R3 cable? ekeke

Selayang!!

Finally I've got my wish, I will be in my dream Hospital baby!!!!!!!

Well, I think its a very justified news for me. After several miserable and anxious days, and all the effort and prayers, I think I trully deserve it.

To make it clear to all, my desire for it has got nothing to do with the fact that Qiqi will be there too. Well, she is the added bonus :)

It has grown into me since the semester 7 attachment. I was trully awed by the professionalism showed by the workers. The overall organization structure is strong, each healthcare role is trully well defined. The teamwork is great. Through a practioner's eyes, Pharmacist are their colleague, not their subordinate, as what it should be.

The most Ive notice about them is there their willingness to push and strive themselves to be up there among the best, and very up to date. I would consider them as a 'contemporary druggist'. Even the head of department is always push all of them do have at least Masters under their belt.

I think that the fact that the hospital is quite new, computerize makes everything so much easier.

I honestly can see this place as my perfect launching pad for my carrer. To be the best, you have to learn from the best!

Thats why I was going ga-ga over this issue. When the draft list of hospital posting leaked out on Tuesday, words got out that I will be posted in HTAR. I was a bit surprised. I thought my initial effort of personally requesting for admission to the head of department itself was sufficient. Then Qiqi's father even asked an inside man of KKM to try meddle with things so that I'll get into it. That too, had failed. So I swiftly call the posting center and ask whats going on. They said they arrange the posting according to our addresses. From the initial list, yes, most of them are in the Kepong-Gombak-Damansara vicinity, but there a few exceptions.

So I tried negotiate with the person in charge. The most I can bargain is to find a mutual switch and I had only 1 night to find the switch partner. Its because the following day, they will have a meeting to finalize the posting list. And so I started to hunt down all the possible candidates.

My luck came on the 4th person I hunt. THANK GOD. Yati Sapili really wanted HTAR! woohooo we're on the same boat! So yeah, the next morning, we went to the headquarters and made the switch. The switch however, is a no guarantee though. They need to decide in the finalize meeting. And so I prepared for the worst. I was ready to go as far as Timbalan Pengarah Kesihatan if I have to.

But Alhamdulillah on Friday, when the finalized list came out, my name was in the Selayang list!!

So Halim, Hilmi, Isa, Izza, Qiqi and Tiqah will be my colleague a year, at least. Honestly, if u ask me to choose 6 person that I can best work with while maintaining the fun factor, I will definitely choose all 6 of them.

Apart from the great line-up, highly rated Druggist, another bonuses of Selayang is that they have a basement parking, and a fully air-conditioned hospital!!

Ready or not, here I come!!

Mr Druggist 2097

Hello, Im your Druggist, registration number 2097.

It was indeed an interesting week. Couple of days back, news got out that Ministry of Health finally done with the placement and sortment. A quick phone call and they informed us (me and Qiqi, obviously) that we will be posted in SELANGOR!

Its a wooohoo. Lucky la didn't get thrown to Sabah and Sarawak like Azizi and Laoshi. However, we need to go and report to Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor on the 3rd October. I repeat, 3rd October. Hello, thats the 3rd day of raya! Oh well.

And today, I recieved a certificate from Lembaga Farmasi, a registration certificate bersyarat. So yeah, Im officially a Provisional Registered Pharmacist!!

Say hello to Mr Druggist no 2097! :D

New Honda City

Here's a peek of the new Honda City, launched recently in Thailand. The design has much improve from its previous predecessors. The new City is no longer use the Jazz platform. No more awkward disproportionate Jazz-with-a-bonnet look or some would say the 'dolphine' look.

In fact, the roof height dropped 25mm lower from the last model, while its slightly longer by 5mm and wider by 5 mm. So yeah, Honda has rectified the awkwardness of City! yeay!

At least Honda is listening to the market. Lets hope Toyota would do the same in future. Please, remove all the Vios-Dugong from the streets! Its just hideous to see!

I will seriously consider this car in future. But lets wait until my Darknight starts to buat perangai first lah. Alhamdulillah so far, no major problem yet. In fact with a some modifications, she handles like a dream now. hehe. Goodbye for now, Honda City. Till we meet again.
